The Dutch school year is divided into regional holidays to balance travel demand and avoid overcrowding. The Netherlands is split into three regions: North, Central, and South.
Official School Holidays for 2025
- Spring Break: February 15 – February 23
- May Break: April 26 – May 4
- Summer Holiday:
- North: July 5 – August 17
- Central: July 19 – August 31
- South: July 12 – August 24
- Autumn Break: October 18 – October 26
- Christmas Break: December 20 – January 4, 2026
